Rady Children’s Physician Management Services (RCPMS) offers exciting opportunities for the qualified candidates to join our rapidly growing organization. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Rady Children’s Hospital and Health Center with just over 500 employees. RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 32 office locations through San Diego and southern Riverside counties.

 

The Telehealth Care Coordinator will provide optimal service and support to patients utilizing Telehealth. The Care Coordinator will provide patient education and assist with technical questions. They will be responsible for validating Patient Registration updates input through Welcome and provide any necessary follow up. The Care Coordinator will closely monitor schedules and act as a general resource for the Telehealth department.

 

Full-time hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

 

Location: Corporate office in Kearny Mesa, San Diego

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides patient education, patient support, and patient care via telehealth platform as an extension of the physician practice. 
  • Provides feedback and suggestions for improving processes and procedures. 
  • Serves as a liaison and coordinates information between providers other clinical staff and patients. 
  • Responsible for Template management for the Telehealth Department to include build and adding blocks as needed. 
  • Appointment management to include assignment of appropriate questionnaires and coordination with families to help facilitate completion prior appointment. 
  • Familiar with all phases of front office processes including proper patient greeting, check in, insurance verification, patient appointment scheduling, collection of co-pays and payments, and new patient registration paperwork completion. 
  • Ensures patient information is recorded accurately and timely in accordance with the Data Integrity Policy. 
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain high level of confidentiality at all times when dealing with patient information.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of experience working with the public, with six months in a physician office or our-patient setting. 
  • Referral Coordinator and EPIC experience highly desired. 

 

Job offer is contingent on successful participation in the Rady Children’s Physician Management Services (RCPMS) COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
