Rady Children’s Physician Management Services (RCPMS) offers exciting opportunities for qualified candidates to join our rapidly growing organization. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Rady Children’s Hospital and Health Center with just over 500 employees. RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 32 office locations throughout San Diego and Southern Riverside Counties.

RCPMS seeks friendly, motivated, experienced individuals for our open Patient Services & Telehealth Manager position in our Kearny Mesa Corporate Office. This is a full-time position.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Clinic Operations & Client Services, the Patient Services & Telehealth Manager is responsible for the oversight of all Referral services and Telehealth (Children’s Virtual Care also known as CVC).  The Patient Services & Telehealth Manager provides effective leadership and accountability for daily operations.  The Patient Services & Telehealth Manager oversees the programs to establish alignment of workflows across the enterprise and to ensure tasks are completed to RCPMS standards with a focus on patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plans and evaluates staffing for departments.  Regularly evaluates current staffing, identifies needs or opportunities, and provides recommendations and justification for changes.
  • Works closely with CPCMG Director of Telehealth Services, Site Supervisors and Coordinators.
  • Tracks and manages employee attendance and punctuality.  Monitors the use of overtime and approves time off.
  • Staff performance management including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, training and rewards and recognitions.
  • Implements and ensures accountability for new processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides orientation, guidance, mentoring and training to new staff.
  • Develops and mentors subordinate leaders and potential leaders.
  • Builds team unity and morale.
  • Organizes workload and establish work standards to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Participates on committees and/or taskforces as assigned.
  • Acts as a resource person for all areas of responsibility.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and three or more years of experience in a medical office setting preferably with referral experience and two years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid California Drivers License and insurance

The reasonably expected starting annual salary range for this position is $79,000-$89,000 depending on qualifications including education and relevant experience.
