Rady Children’s Physician Management Services (RCPMS) offers exciting opportunities for qualified candidates to join our rapidly growing organization. RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 32 office locations throughout San Diego and Southern Riverside Counties.

RCPMS seeks motivated, experienced individuals for our open Operations Administrative Trainer at our Kearny Mesa Corporate Office.

Under the general supervision of the Training Supervisor, the Operations Administrative Trainer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and conducting administrative front office training for RCPMS.  The scope of training responsibilities includes, but is not limited to, application training, Service Excellence and professional development.  The trainer will be responsible for initial proficiency training of personnel in the practice management system as well as function as the application resource for all users.  The Operations Administrative Trainer may be called upon to provider training services and resources for our Corporate Affiliates.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new training courses/programs as necessary including training content, presentation, handouts and assessment testing as necessary.
  • Provide front office training to newly hired and established RCPMS staff including follow up post training.
  • Providers training and onsite support for new affiliate offices and Community Connect projects.
  • Train on interpersonal skills including customer service, communications and critical thinking.
  • Provide ongoing training courses including supplemental, individual and on site trainings.
  • Assists in handling problems, assessing work flows and troubleshooting organization wide as well updating training to reflect current work flows.
  • Reinforces classroom training through on site individual and group follow up.
  • Develops and cultivates professional behaviors and expectations through course offerings and by example.
  • Integrate Service Excellence ideals into all training programs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, teaching or coaching.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Six months healthcare provider templating, experience in a medical setting with understanding of daily office workflows and experience on one of the major medical software application (i.e EPIC, Meditech, IDX, etc…) desired.
  • Valid California License and insurance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelors Degree preferred.
