Rady Children’s Physician Management Services (RCPMS) offers exciting opportunities for qualified candidates to join our rapidly growing organization. RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 32 office locations throughout San Diego and Southern Riverside Counties.

RCPMS seeks friendly, motivated, experienced individuals for our open Nurse Care Connect Supervisor position in our Kearny Mesa Corporate Office. This is a full-time position.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Care Connect Manager, the Nurse Care Connect Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of Nurse Care Connect. The Nurse Care Connect Supervisor oversees the staff to ensure procedures and tasks are completed correctly and to RCPMS standards with specific focus on patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains staffing schedules.
  • Tracks and manages employee attendance and punctuality. Monitors the use of overtime and approves time off.
  • Regularly evaluates current staffing, identifies needs and opportunities, and provides recommendations and justification for changes.
  • Assists with handling department performance management including performance evaluations, quarterly 1:1’s, disciplinary actions, and training.
  • Works closely with management regarding daily operations, workflow and to resolve issues that may arise.
  • Attends trainings as necessary and ensures new procedures, processes and policies are disseminated, trained, and implemented with staff.
  • Provides orientation, guidance, mentoring and training to new staff.
  • Meets regularly with Nurse Care Connect Manager and Director of Nursing to update and discuss department operations, staffing and planning.
  • Holds regular meetings with staff. Develops agenda and maintains minutes.
  • Participates on committees and/or taskforces as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • AA degree or higher in Nursing
  • One year of supervisory experience preferably in healthcare
  • Pediatric experience highly desired
  • Active California RN license

The reasonably expected starting annual salary range for this position is $99,000-$113,000 depending on qualifications including education and relevant experience.
