Rady Children’s Physician Management Services (RCPMS) offers exciting opportunities for qualified candidates to join our rapidly growing organization. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Rady Children’s Hospital and Health Center with just over 500 employees. RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 32 office locations throughout San Diego and Southern Riverside Counties.

RCPMS seeks friendly, motivated, experienced individuals for our open IT Analyst position.

Under the supervision of the Epic Applications Manager, the IT Analyst serves as an application expert and resource to users, management, and IT Department staff for all assigned applications. The IT Analyst is responsible for highly visible, multi-faceted IT projects from successful implementation through ongoing maintenance, optimization and support. Responsibilities also include interpreting user requests, build, testing and following the application development life. Shares knowledge with junior team members and supports solid operating and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

Achieves and maintains certification in required applications or modules for current version and stay updated on any new version training
Develop/build programming/code as necessary for implementation/optimization in assigned applications and other modules as assigned
Demonstrates initiative by suggesting enhancement to the existing processes to improve productivity
Participates in the analysis of data associated with the function of the application assigned
Performs “in service” and competency evaluations on usage of applications as required
Performs user phone and onsite support and troubleshooting as necessary
Collaborate with SME’s to understand complex workflow requirements and develop technology solution options with pros and cons where applicable
Ability to work accurately with numbers and general knowledge of mathematical calculations including fractions, ratios, percentages, graphs and the metric system.

Requirements:

Associates Degree in Information Technology or equivalent in the medical field, or relevant experience may be substituted.
Epic Ambulatory Certification (can be achieved in first 6 months)
Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations.
Pleasant attitude, a professional appearance and a willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction.
You must demonstrate accuracy, timeliness, attention to detail and must strive for continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

The reasonably expected starting hourly wage range for this position is $41.11-$44 depending on qualifications including education and relevant experience.
