RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 32 office locations throughout San Diego and Southern Riverside Counties.

 

RCPMS seeks friendly, motivated, experienced individuals for our open Human Resources Assistant position. Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources the Human Resources Assistant support activities providing assistance in the areas including employment, compensation and salary administration, employee communication, benefits and organizational development. Provides strategic and creative thinking for continuous improvement of operations and quality of care.

This is a full-time position with full-time hours of Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. This position is hybrid remote after successfully meeting quality standards at the 6 month review.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibility will be full cycle recruitment and onboarding services. This includes anticipating staffing needs and addressing them through strategic sourcing plans, posting jobs, screening and interviewing candidates, presenting top candidates to hiring managers, conducting verifications of employment and reference checks, assisting with new hire orientation, tracking and analyzing trends relative to turnover. Additional areas of support could include electronic and paper records management, HRIS, employee events, employee rewards and recognition programs, worker’s compensation and employee benefits.

Requirements:

  • Assists with recruitment process for staff, extern and temp positions by placing ads, screening, coordinating interviews, tracking applicants, conducting background checks and onboarding.
  • Support other HR department members with administrative tasks including maintenance and creation of all personnel files, assembly of new hire/orientation/benefit/termination packets.
  • Performs transactional data entry into HRIS system, verification of insurance bills for payment, completes employment verifications, tracks employee licensures/certificates.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees including answering questions, providing proper forms and explaining policy and procedures.
  • Tracks and reports employee data including but not limited to turnover, new hire and termination counts, benefit eligibility, status changes, and performance evaluation tracking.
  • Other HR projects as assigned.
